THE 100 FRIENDS OF BROTHER GEORGE LARKIN FUND
Brother George Larkin, O.S.F. ’60, spent more than 35 years in the admissions office of St. Francis College, personally recruiting tens of thousands of young men and women. He was the welcoming face that students saw on the first day each semester and the last before they walked across the stage to pick up their diploma at graduation. He kept to that tradition until just a few days before he fell ill, meeting members of the 2009 incoming freshman class.
The 100 Friends of Brother George Larkin are a group of generous donors committed to ensuring that future students will continue to be able to enjoy a high-quality affordable education. This tribute honors the life of a man who was so devoted to the success of St. Francis College and its students.
Our goal is to find 100 people willing to donate $1,000 a year for ten years. With the help of these 100 Friends we will create a $1 million fund in memory of Brother George Larkin, O.S.F.
